Well any blow by has stopped on its own ... I changed oil last week and put a " cheap" mineral ( dino) in just to sort of flush engine as I was concerned maybe I'd screwed the remaining oil by overheating or something .. Was going to give it a couple of hundred mile then change oil and filter using my " good" oil..

Anyway bike ran quieter and roughly same temp after rides in similar ambient temps and not a drop of oil anywhere .. Changed oil and filter for my good oil yesterday and went for a ride I'm sure it's noisier ..

"Cheap oil" Valvotech ( not sure where this is available)

Waiting to see if oil from blow by returns ...

Valvolene states mineral based ... Can't find much info on it .. That cost me £27 for 4L the cheaper was £13 for 4.5L ...

I'm going to give it a few hundred mile like the cheaper stuff and see if it returns .. I noticed the difference in noise straight away but this may just be because it was new but it's stayed quieter especially top end ticking ...

My top end ticking disappeared after i started using Castrol 1 20/50.
An unintended bonus!
I noticed it gone straight away, but thought maybe it was because is was just new oil, but 2k later all is still well.
