I was looking through the frame pics and from here I can't see a change in the frames 2013-2014 that would affect the battery tray.

I don't know but I bet it would bolt up. But then you would probably run into other fitment issues in that general area with other stuff. Then deal with the other stuff.

This all makes me like the 60s magneto fired XLCH even more!

I don't understand why they had to use plastic tanks.
If it weight, dam, take some bling off but keep the oil tank leak free.
But what do I know?

No, it's all good. I like all machinery. I have an 2004 Roadster 1200. Nice bike, don't ride it as much as the '69 CH, my favorite bike of all time.
