Default front fork

I forgot to mention,it’s a ‘74 front end...I just realized they have a metal band on them...so, not sure if burning them will help much..the seals being petrified in place....any tips for getting them out?

Soak in penetrating oil or kerosene for a few days between heating it up and letting it cool off then a seal puller should get it out.

Ok, got it out, just did it the old fashioned way, pry with screw driver. I didn’t realize that the seal was shaped as it was, had a new pack of seals but wrong year, so I thought part of the seal was part of the lower slider. Once I saw the correct seal I realized my mistake, and then used the screw driver...
