Spacer swingarm bearing
Hello!
The picture shows a spacer of the swingarm bearings (1985 XLX). My question: does this spacer sit just between the two bearings? An does it ensure the correct bearing play?
Greetings from a chilly Southwest Germany

inside the right swingarm mount you will find a groove that the spacer snaps into, the bearing outer races are then driven in against it from both sides.

Thanky for your reply. This spacer is not the spacer which fits in the notch in the swing arm. It's a much smaller diameter. In the spare parts catalogue it isn't depicted. Unfortunately I didn't notice its place during the disassembling...

Is the 85 the same (sort of) as 86?
The bearing spacer is needed to keep the inner races from loading into each other and binding.
Yes, it just sits between the two bearings.
