John, did I reply to your PMs? I think I did, but don't know how to verify that I did. After 15 years on here, I still don't know how things work.

BKB: if you deleted your sent PMs from your sent items folder here, and didn't keep copies, then there's no way now to tell what, if anything, you sent.
I keep every PM I send and receive; I download them to my PC before deleting them here, and store them as Word docs.

Folkie, I don't know how to do any of that, that you just said, except for the delete part. I think I'm one of those old farts that just can't get my head wrapped around this computer stuff. To many steps to remember & if I don't do it 20 times a day for a year, it escapes the memory banks. I do appreciate the help offered, even if I can't figure out how to use the advice.

Thank you Brian, cause this old dinosaur is one step behind you, LOL! Your bike running well? I was out to the bank, post office and house sitting for a friend. It was a balmy 22F and damn if my throttle cable froze up again while I was in the post office. Managed to ride her home and tomorrow I think I’m pulling the carb and cables off of Orange and swapping onto Black Beauty.

Haven't ridden it since I got it back from the shop, except in the driveway. Feels ok. It's on the jack. Fenders & strut covers are at the powder coater's. Tank was off, too, as I was wiring in some auxiliary LED turn signals. Got them mounted on the mirror stalks. Also took off that plastic monstrosity that houses the wiring under the tank & cleaned that business up a bit. Every thing I can reach is getting cleaned up, while it's apart. Doesn't happen very often. lol

Crusty, I have been reading all of this gushing over your paint job, seen the pictures, ect. But couldn't get my head around all the excitement. So I went out and found a clean Mazda with Soul Red paint. I have to say your statement that photo's don't do the paint justice is an understatement! I'm not a red paint guy but that, in real life is fetching! I think the bag accents on your bike really set it apart. Good job!
