I will wear a Modular, full face or 3/4. I high sided at a concrete creek crossing and slid several yards in gravel. Glad I had the full face on at the time because I would have been diggin rocks out of the left side of my face.

Full face, always... I'm not a very good crasher and I like my chin the way it is

I first started off with a 3/4 helmet for a few months when i started riding in 2005. Then I went with a half helmet from then until now. But my last long trip I tried a full face shoei neotec because of all the rain they were calling for which it never rained and I brought my half helmet which I never used. I like the way the full face breaks the wind and also with the sena radio in it i can listen to music or talk to other riders if they have one also. Might not go back to the half helmet.

I purchased a Bell "Broozer" helmet today (thru Dennis Kirk), should receive it in a few days. It's a 3/4 helmet with a removable chin bar. Specs say it's about 1lb (480g) lighter than my Bell "Revolver". It also looks like it has more view area.

I received the Broozer, 3 days ago. Unbelievable, how much better I can see out of it. It never "parachuted" at high speed (105mph, dang empty highways ). Fit was great but what am I supposed to do with the removable chin bar as I don't run saddlebags or a trunk. I can feel the weight difference, too. I still have to test in the rain and behind my detachable windshield, hopefully it works great.

I was always a Bell Guy..BUT...when I looked for a new Lid in 2006.....they had Nothing I liked......so I went to the dark side with an Arai! It's a great helmet though........so it's not like I bought an el cheapo!!

That one looks nice.........but I've been a FF guy for years and years (1970ish)

CE-compliant half-jet and very happy! I like the wind and the convenience of a small helmet. I have ordered an ultra-light custom-made half-jet in Italy; with bug-shield for the motorways speeds (quite efficient)

Apparently that helmet didn't stop a bullet. How many helmets would?
