Aside from the odd lithium when I need to save weight, I've been using nothing but YUASA batteries for over a decade.
One of my YUASA batteries is about 8 years old, a girlfriend bought it for me, she has since had two new serious relationships, gotten engaged, married, pregnant, and had the kid... But I know I'm the winner from the breakup because my Yuasa battery still works every time almost a decade later
I think the problem wasn't that you let it die once, I think the problem was that it sounds like you let it stay dead for so long.
Unfortunately, like my relationships, batteries can only be as good as you treat them. I think you may be asking what to do a lot too late, as these things are usually pretty resilient, and it sounds like yours can't be saved. Sorry man.
I have some content on how to test a dead motorcycle battery to see if it's worth replacing or not, you can google it if you want to, I don't even think it's worth linking to because that thing sounds deader than the burgers I'm gonna barbecue.

Well it turns out the battery was very dead, couldn't read a charge from the battery tender. Took it to the bike shop and they had a better charger. Left it on charge for about an hour, everything seems to be fine.
Guess I screwed up and just didn't realize it.

I hope that it didn't lose total capacity.

That's not enough. Leave it on your tender overnite at minimum.
