Default Puked oil again

It puked oil into the back of the battery tray again! I rode it hard yesterday, hitting the rev limiter several times. I look today and have a puddle of oil under the bike again. Can Anyone help me figure this out?

You got a crack in the oil tank maybe? Rumor has it that pre-rububer mounts vibrate a little at higher RPM's. I don't get anything near my batt'ry tray but I can flog a bunch of oil vapor out of my diy breather into a catch can when I play tag with the limiter.

maybe you have a broken vent hose.. the vent typically goes from the post near the starter up through the vent tube and it u bends down again.
also, another common issue is that the seal between engine and primary/trans is leaking and you're over flowing the primary. i'd check the inspection hole to ensure you're not too full

How hard is it to change the engine to primary seal?

not overly difficult. you'll need to take off the clutch and stator and primary chain and a big ass torque wrench to put it all back together.

Those “rigids”, did have an issue with the primary vent hose, and the MoCo issued a bulletin to help it. Seems the vent tube would sag a bit, the oil vapor would puddle in the sag, pressure would build and then send the oil up and out the tub. Something simple to check.

Mine was looking like this before rerouting the primary vent hose. Oil blowing out all over and dripping back down off the bike from various spots. Freaking mess

Cured my 2000 by tugging the vent hose up and zip tying it in place, when it sags the oil vapors collect in the drop bend and the pressure blows it up and out, messy. By taking the sag out the collected oil drains back into the primary.
