Default Leaving in a.m. for 4,000-5,000 Mile Trip...

...on June 16, 2008, from North Carolina to tour New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah and Colorado -- if my body holds up. (Hope I can sleep tonight -- this is a first for me.)

Thanks to everyone for all your helpful advice. (I still may not make it, but my odds are a lot better thanks to all the folks on the XlForum -- it's an awesome website.)

Here's my bike loaded up like a Winnebago... not so pretty anymore... but hopefully it's functional.

Here's what it looked like a little while ago..

Default I forgot... I should have...

...thanked Ben Johnson and the rest of the guys in the service department at Carolina Coast Harley-Davidson for helping me out on Saturday without any notice. Without their help I wouldn't have gotten very far.
