Default Help out with a donor, with "Exhaust" probs

http://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/mcy/1026477989.html

Not a bad price, unless the "exhaust" problem is more costly than I think. Can anyone chime in please. I wouln't use the Buell exhaust, I'd get a custom one anyway (right?)

Thanks

Thats a great price on a low miled buell! Plus thats his asking price, so you'll get it for a coupla bucks less. You wont be using the exhaust on a custom so I wouldnt worry about it. As long as it runs well and doesn't have any leaks, your golden. You better hurry up and buy that thing before I do!!

How hard is it to unlink a tach. 4,000 miles does sound awefully low. and the price just doesn't make sense. I guess, like you said, if it runs nice, then it is a good bike. anyone know a mechanic in the joliet/shorewood area that I can call to have him check it out?
