That looks awesome, you did a really good job on that. I am going to pull my rear wheel off this winter and polish that. I am thinking about doing the forks also. Keep up the good work.

That is what I am going to do with mine clean up the mount on the lower part of the lags and paint them black he has the Showa forks mine are the White Power

Hey WildWill,
That's a really nice job! I am also doing a Buell chopper build and have been wondering what to do with the forks. I hate that yellowish anodized coating on them. I was thinking of polishing them and then considered painting them.
How hard was it to polish them? What did you use?

I like it. Chrome and paint can get scratches, but you can always bring polished back to new.
