Default Tyres For EVO Superlow

This is primarily aimed at UK members.
I have a UK 2013 Superlow. The rear tyre now needs replacing. I currently have Bridgestone Battle Cruise H50 front and rear which I have found very good, definitely better than the Scorchers fitted as standard.
Rear is a 150/60 ZR 17 66W
Front is 120/70 ZR18 59W

There are other Bridgestone tyres but usually they do not include the front and rear in the same model type. The Battle Cruise rear tyre in UK retails for around £210 then add fitting. I will need a front tyre later this year so the cost for the Battle Cruise is a little steep although they are a good tyre.

Does anyone recommend another tyre that comes in sizes for both the rear and front and is available in UK?
Can anyone recommend any tyre suppliers in UK?
Ideally I need to change this tyre within the next couple of days as I have a ride out planned for next Saturday.
Any advice welcome.

You must have the 883 variant?

I have a 1200 and the rear is 150/70 17.

Tyre size calculator shows how different they are - https://www.tacomaworld.com/tirecalc...0r17-150-70r17

I have Avon Spirit ST and doing great so far at around 10,000 miles. Still looks to have plenty of life left.

Like you they maybe great tyres but I wasn't going to swing for the Michelins.

I got so sick of my bike eating up back tires I went from the 150/60zr17 to a 150/70R17

I think the Z rating is for like 140mph plus and a Sportster isn't even capable of that speed. The taller tire will help with your gearing.

Just ordered a pair of Avon Spirit ST tyres the rear in a 70 profile. The slight discrepancy in the speedo should not be an issue as I normally use the speed indicator on my GPS so I don't have to look down.
Hopefully the rear tyre will be fitted Thursday afternoon. The front still has some life in it so it will be replaced in a few month's time.

Had a new rear tyre fitted today - Avon Spirit ST and then put 100 miles on it riding back from the tyre fitters and then doing a Thursday night chip run. So now it is nicely scrubbed in.

Yes and no. I'm running these wheels, 18x3.5 front, 17x4.5 rear, on my '17 1200 instead of the spoked (with tubes) OE 16's.

The rear is fine but the front is a bit limiting. Particularly if you think you need matching front and rear tires.

I came pretty close to going with the Avon tire but I ended up with a set of Pirelli Angel GT's. I think it was a smart move upping the profile of the tire.
