More advice.... (2007 Roadster Seat On 2011 Superlow?)
I'm looking at a 2011 Superlow 883 at the weekend, it is fitted with a single seat, as you would expect. However I have a sundowner and sissy bar from my previous 2007 Roadster. I know I will need to purchase the pillion footrests, but will the 2007 seat fit the 2011?

The only difference is that the '07 seat has the cut-out for the ECM, which is mounted on the rear fender on the earlier EFI models. It will fit just fine, but you can't use the newer seats on the older models because the cut-out was eliminated when H-D moved the ECM to behind the rear cylinder.

What size are the tanks on the two bikes? A seat for a 3.3 gal tank bike won't fit on a 4.5 gal tank bike, since the tank is longer. Some people have made them fit, sorta, by cutting away the front part of the seat.

you can make the seat fit but it looks aweful. a mate did it but was too tight with the cash. scrunching up the front of the seat but when looking at yourself in shop windows as you ride past is a baaaaad experience. all you see is a scrunched up seat not sleipnir
