I have a blowed up 1275 build with BFH and 600 cams looking for a new home. This is getting REAL! How bout around tax time?

90 inch builds are usually done to a pretty high level. So most get SLEDGE or BFH work and either the 600 or 660 cams. It's hard to build too much breathing capability into a motor that size But you can do a mild 90 incher if you want, there's no requirement to go big on it. A mild one will power peak at a real low rpm though.

Mostly cut to clear each other, but yeah.

Also I think we're going to cut the top fin on the exhaust side to handle milled heads without the flange getting into the fin, and do some Mikuni carb clearance cuts as well. And maybe even some cuts for the billet manifolds to clear. If we've got one fixtured in the machine anyway, it's easy to do all the cuts it needs. Being this hard cast iron, it's difficult for customers to do these clearancing operations themselves.

Not likely we'll have production pieces by then. Next step is 20 prototypes. Then lots of testing before we open the wallet and order a production run. It took us a year on the 1275. You don't want to fork out tens of thousands of dollars unless and until you're sure it's right. But proto 1 is really encouraging. Not a lot wrong with it, at least not that we've found yet.
