Default Need help with side valve hole rim and tube size . .

Without getting into too much with what I am doing ( see the Rubbermount section for whats going on ). I laced a 16" drop center black rim for the front. It has a side stem hole. I bought a side stem tube . . fits fine. But . .the hole in the rim is much larger than the stem sticking through it. I can add a washer so that I can tighten down the stem in place ( the nut goes through the hole as well ). . but it seems I should have something that centers the stem in the hole, ( a bushing ? )since the hole is larger than the stem. I have finally gotten to this point in my build . . and now I have something that is slowing me. Help.

yep, go to auto parts store, might have to get the bolt in stem package but it will have adapters.

I checked lots of places. Some knew what I was talking about, others did not. NAPA could order one, so that is what I had to do. So I install this bushing . I guess then a washer on top, then the nut? If the bushing sticks above the run, I guess I file it so it doesn't protrude, so the washer will sit flat?
