I've got an Energy 1 clutch in mine & it squeals occasionally on take off. I think the squeal is a function of not having the grenade plate in the clutch pack. If it makes you crazy, maybe the XR clutch bits would fix the noise. Look for "grenade plate fix with XR parts" thread.

The XR parts do fix the squeal. They also feel a little less mushy than the rivet plate, but it's still not a solid feel like the springless stack. I've got the XR/Buell damper spring in mine now and I keep debating whether or not it'll come back out when I change fluids in there. I like the quietness of it, but it felt better without it.
