We don’t care!!! Winter is coming and good luck to anyone racing tomorrow. We are tossing Max into the money bike class with me if he Chooses. If not, he’ll run jr and I’ll run trophy bike and the last money bike race. A few old friends showed up tonight to get a piece of the pie 🥧 so competition will be tough!

Went 3 rounds in trophy bike and won in the finals on the tree. Went 5 in money bike and lost in the finals with a double break out. Dialed a 50 because it went .52, 53 the two runs before. Was dialing a 46 because it was running 48s. Well, it ran a 48 lol. He had a .003 light to my .05x something. Lots of bikes, lots of Busas. Pot was 800 bucks, he offered to split it before we raced, I accepted!!!! Max lost in the finals in jr bike with the blast. A tach or shift light will come in handy as he’s on the limiter in every gear. So far he put down a 10.53 I think at 64mph. We have plan to set it up with the tach, aim and a homemade pipe. Maybe some cams and a little headwork! Had some luck, but the bike was running pretty tight numbers and I had decent lights all night. Softer spring installed slowed up 60s to 1.49-1.51 but did manage a 6.45 at 105mph in almost 4000’ of air. Hopefully some super d tnt soon along with a couple of clutch set ups. Hoping the da cleans up this fall and see if we can dip back into the 9s. Track was so so, I had a lot of spins, so did everybody else. 8psi and cranked the springs to soften the hit. Enough rambling

Awesomnss, congrats! Tell Max nice work going rounds on a new ride. You guys are killing it. Love to see the pushrod bikes putting the metrics on the trailer.

We’ve been blessed this year. It was Busa City this last weekend. All stretched, air and two steps. 6.10-5.40 bikes. Pretty crazy what has happened this year since I quit focusing on going fast. Fast will come eventually...maybe. But, tossing the clutch and knowing exactly what the bikes going to do is a great feeling. Just pulled the pipe off the blast tonight. Homemade pipe in the works. Two step, shift light and my second aim going in this winter. Track owner said we can race trophy and money bike with max at the helm. So hopefully we get it ready and have two bikes in it next year. Thinking an 883 head beads worked with half a 1275/1250 ha ha

Haha !!!! I figured he just turned 13 in August we better not toss him on a 120 hp 1250 that weighs 480lbs. We’ll keep the blast for a pit bike and et racer for a few years. Hopefully sneak him in soon in high school 1/4 mike points class. He had a lot of time ahead of him to go fast so I’m taking the slow road. I’ve been on his cr85 too many times and his cr125 when we picked it up. That’s enough for me !
