"Agree to disagree". That means two parties agree. "...on your part" doesn't sound like you agree to anything. That really sounded like some kind of a threat. A forum is for friendly discussions. I apologize if I've ruffled your feathers. You're entitled to your opinion and I'm entitled to mine.

This is the usual "common good" argument. "I do this and you should too". If you don't "Parents, spouses, significant others, relatives, friends and even entire communities are affected".

I find it interesting it usually comes from someone living in a state where they don't have a choice. The state took that away from them. They can't do something so no one else should be able to... Freedom of choice is nice to have.

How does a "how many miles" thread turn into this???

Not very hard to track the thread back to the one that derailed it. Not a surprise really, really only surprised they continue to let the same person derail and turn every thread into an argument.

I let the dried bugs collect on my windshield but not on my face shield - they make me cross-eyed.
Followed by a post calling those of us that without a helmet disrespectful.

I put around 26,000 on my 09 nightster when I traded it in at the end of 12’. Replaced a rear upper and lower rocker gasket at 20k. I currently have 4K on my 19’.

I got home today from my "around the block" ride. Over the river, thru the woods, skirting the big city, over the hills & back over the river. 80 miles or so. As I pulled into the garage, the odometer read 999,989 miles. Weather's gonna be good tomorrow & the bike will be joining the 100,000 mile club. Took the first ride on this bike on my 60th birthday, October 20, 2009, after being in a wheel chair for 2 months & walking with a cane for 2 more. June 20, 2009, I got t-boned on my '04 Custom. 5 years & it had 83,000 miles. I've slowed down a bit since then. 10 years & 100,000 miles. Still, not bad for a COBB. (Crippled Old Biker Bum)
