If you check out "behind the scenes" in any movie or TV show, any motorcycle riding film shots are all done at less than 35mph and usually done around 25mph.
Movies like 'Easyrider", "Wild Hogs", and other cult biker movies, look at the scenery go by as they ride, same with SOA and Mayans, etc. Whether they can 'shoot' from a bike, I couldn't tell you.

I mostly do carry when riding, but I also carry most of the time. I am a former LEO, got quite a few baddies that I have put back behind bars. I have no illusions of shooting from my bike. Too much going on on the bike to make that feasible. I would just scoot and boot. But, when I get to my destination I want to be prepared.

No. Unless you're firing a large rifle or a shotgun, or unless you are a tiny person, "recoil" is greatly overstated. Mostly another myth of TV & Hollywood.

A couple years ago I got a bike game trophy for 4 out of 5 targets at 20" w/10 shot max doing drive by paint ball on my IH.
The key is shooting left handed.

I carry cross-draw when riding just for this reason.

I've been shooting since I was 5, pistols since I was 8. I'm 69. I'm consider myself a competent marksman. I wouldn't attempt to shoot from a moving bike, unless it was for fun & at slow speed, like SHaNe did. Apart from the fact that hitting a moving target from a moving platform is totally dependent on blind luck or computers, is the other consideration of removing one hand from the controls while under extreme stress. I rely on discretion & speed to avoid difficulties on the road, & my God's gift of common sense & situational awareness on & off the road. So, no, I don't carry a firearm on the bike.
