I had soon many chunks and pieces in there when I pulled it out today. I also have 98000 miles on it. I ordered a low mileage used one today going to have the zippers billet trap door swapped from my trans to the newer trans. I am going to go with a close ratio 1st, just trying to figure out if I want to go close 2.61, medium close 2.368? I want to get this bike into the 10s in the 1/4 miles this year!!

I’m close ratio 1st and second. I think I’m 2.61 if memory serves me correctly. It’s what was recommended to me by almost every xl racer, hammer dan and R&D in Florida.

Hey madnss! I talked to mark at r&d today. Wish I could have talked to him a while ago! Great guy and I know he does awesome stuff! He did matts beautiful trans for his 90inch! I am sending him my stuff, already got the 2.61 going in, I have a zippers billet trap door and he'll do his magic. I am so excited to have transmission that's going to be awesome for the BFH 1275 setup that I am putting together next month. Had hammer put a xr1200 crank in a couple of years ago. I have been following you and your progress over the years. Bad ass bud!! I use to ride 45 minutes to the track, run 11.70s a few times then ride home when I was living in Michigan. Hoping for some high 10s this year. Gonna try with a stock wheel base sporty anyway

That’s awesome! Mark is good stuff! And so is the Hammer 1275 BFH!!!! Good luck on the 10! I hope you get it!!!!!!

Is the bike still a street bike you ride a lot? And what’s the gearing? Stock primary gears I assume? Rear belt or chain and teeth count?
