Aftermarket Ironhead Seats - ID?
I'm not too familiar with the Ironhead aftermarket stuff and I'm hoping some of the other old-timers can help me identify the manufacturer and model of these two seats.
SEAT A was on my 73 XLH when I bought it from a good friend in about 2003. If it helps, I think SEAT A came with the backrest that's shown in the inset, as they both share the same diagonal stitching, buttons, and black carpeting on the backsides.

(Please note! The seat in the [backrest inset] photo is actually the currently installed SEAT B.)
SEAT A is very heavy compared to SEAT B.
Somewhere between 2003 and 2009, I replaced SEAT A with SEAT B...

...though I can't remember where, or from whom, I got it.
Seat B is much lighter than SEAT A, plus it's a little thicker and softer too. The number 230 can be seen molded into the seat back.
Can anyone help ID these two seats? ZT

I think the second seat is a Mustang Duke? I can't say for sure though.....aftermarket is not my cup of tea.

Thanks Magneto Sportster! I appreciate your reply!
I'm wondering if SEAT A might be an HD "King & Queen" seat, or perhaps a Corbin. It's so heavy, I can't imagine that it doesn't have a steel frame pan.
I'm also hoping the black carpet on the backside of SEAT A and the sissy bar might be a good clue and indicate the manufacturer... if the black carpet is indeed stock.

1st one may be a corbin since you say it is heavy. Looks almost like a Widow Maker.

Though looks recovered. Cuz of carpet underneath.
I'm probably wrong though.
Edit. If it is just heavy because of the steel plate underneath. Old parts stores used to sell all kinds seats that were copied.
Don't even know if they had brand names.

Thanks 1Scooter! Does yours have # 230 molded into the molded bottom pan?
I googled the Mustang (Regal) Duke and it sure looks pretty close to mine except the leather on the Regal Duke looks a bit softer, and more supple than the saddle black leather on mine. I also noticed the Regal Dukes go for $400+ and can't imagine I ever paid anywhere near that much for mine.
Maybe SEAT B came with the bike when I bought it? Dunno!
