So happy for you John, sounds like it’s going to be many miles of smiles. Do need to clarify that your cold weather is “California cold”, but I still salute anybody out there getting wind in the face. No many bikes out up here just now.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!

Yes, brutal conditions. About 55-60 degrees. Had to ditch the shorts and flip flops.

PS. I noticed a "classic" anti-biker road sign on PCH yesterday. Will post a pic tomorrow!

I am so, so sorry to hear that. I hope it's not health issues, I know we're all getting older. I doubt I'll be around for a 60th anniversary with my bike.

Have a safe Thanksgiving, George! Take care.

Take a peek at what Tim the Grim made for me. I can't wait to mount it.

I am so sorry to hear this. My godson was on dialysis, not a pleasant experience at all. He passed away waiting to stabilize enough for a transplant but just didn't happen.

Just finished 135 miles now. Put the oil temp dipstick in today and taped it on as it was no longer sealing and likely to bounce out. Oil temperature was virtually the same as when it was an 883. It was in the low 50's out today but oil still 185-190 degrees after a 25 mile ride. With a short freeway blast just to make sure a good warmup.

My 883 used to accelerate like my old VW van from 55-70. This bike now gets up and flat out moves in that range. Very impressive.

Amen to that, we’re not so tough up here but more thick headed, ha!
