Bent shift shaft with play
I just took off my primary cover on my 97 xl1200S and discovered that I have a bent shift shaft. With further inspection, I noticed the entire shift shaft assembly has a lot of play and the plate from the assembly (34015-91) has been rubbing against the largest clutch sprocket.
Is it possible to replace the entire shift shaft assembly without removing the clutch sprocket and shifter retaining ring (11019)?
