Sorry I havent had time to post pictures. The reason I ask is at one point a thrust washer was in the bottom of the primary when I pulled the cover. I could not find out where it came from so I just put the cover back on an road it. Its never been an issue so I am more curious then anything. Everyone I talked to said I dont need one. But then I ask myself "then why was it in there"

Do you know for sure that the cover was original??? If not, a replacement cover may have had that washer stuck to it and it came loose eventually...

BTW, is it a copper or steel washer???

Its a copper washer. And looks exactly like the one in the picture and the part number that was suggested. The cover is original as well.
