Jim, if it was me, I'd think about swapping out that spoke front wheel for a cast one. A flat with a tube type tire can really ruin your day.
I'm not worried about the flat potential. I've had lots of spoke wheel bikes. The 21 looks good with the custom narrowed fender.

I recall someone indicating that a Vetter works better than the early Goldwing/Silverwing fairings. Interesting that Craig Vetter got it so right being the "little guy".

Jim, I just scrolled back and looked at the bike as it arrived at your site in it’s arrival state. Quite a transformation you’ve accomplished. Kudos to you sir, a tribute to your vision and skills!!!

Am expecting to head out in March for a months roadwork, doing “Natchez Trace Parkway with my son,”skiene”, then into Florida. Maybe a return North up the Atlantic Coast. If we get close will let you know, maybe meet for a coffee?

Beautiful bike, but I have to admit I don't understand the "cone of silence" thing. One of the main reasons I ride a Sportster is because I love the sound. Mine has aftermarket slip ons. The other reason is the feel. I love the "Harley shake" And one of the other main reasons I ride bikes of any kind is "wind in the face" Being out in the open. I do wear a full face helmet, that is to protect me from all the debris in that wind.
