Question:
Are you all running the tire pressure stated on the side of the tire, or are you running a few pounds lower?
My last set: Dunlop's (cough, cough), I was running 40psi and had a lot of slippages' , thus the reason for the new tires even though the Dunlop's are still good, (but a hard tire).
Thanks,

I believe poundage marked on sidewall are suggested maximums, your manual will suggest lower. Experimen5 for your best feel.

Ok thanks. Don't have a manual and the reason I asked is there are some who say to run max so the tire isn't rolling on you etc.
So that is where I got that idea.
Thanks again,

I'm on my second set of (cough, cough) Dunlop American Elites.
The book says 30lb each but the front started scalloping (around 10k) and people said to run a little higher. The rear is fine at 30. Both tires could go another 10k easy.
As far as cornering, I have no problem with them. Got a 1/4 inch chicken strip on the rear I'm still working on. I don't drag very often but I do like the curves.
The Elites aren't even listed for the Sport. I'm thinking they are a bit much tire for it. I picked up a nail in the rear and pressure was down to 20 and I didn't even notice it.
Given the tread pattern, I don't think they would be that great in the rain.
Overall, I like them and will probably buy another when these wear out.

Thanks.
I put 35 in the front and 38 in the rear, seemed a little better.
