Had a superb countryside run of about 150kms to try out the new Bridgestone H50 front tyre (fantastic), see how the suspension felt after adding preload adjusters (damned fine),
and see how the new fairing worked (brilliant). So, well happy.

I ordered a peanut style tank for my '06 1200 custom. I like the look. Plus my Super Brace has shipped! Now if this darn snow will just melt......

Yep. Really impressed with mine. Riding is so much more fun with them on.

What did I do today: Sprayed some deoxit on the grounds.

Yesterday I put my rocker boxes and covers on. My coil, fuel tank, intake and carb. Oh and the TC88A.
Just have the exhaust, seat, battery, and swap mainjets left til I fire it up after my Hammer 1250/570 cams install.
Busy at work til maybe towards the end of the week when heavy rain will shut down the anhydrous for a bit. I'll wrap it up then. I'm dying for liftoff but no ambition after 16 hours driving the big truck and pumping off that nasty crap.

You may get lucky and be able to use your original center spacers, but they must match the axle diameters.
Well I got new bearings coming. Used the link you sent and it seems like it'll work. However one more question: since the nightster wheels are 25mm, will my spacers fit inside them?

You may be ok with your rear, but measure for correct length, as it's probably close enough between the 25mm and 1", the front needs a spacer to suit the much smaller axle size so it touches the inner bearing races and not the seals.
Not sure if the wheel hub sizes are any different, you will have to put the right side bearing in and measure the hub. But whatever, take a real good look at the assembly pic so you fully understand what you need regards lengths etc.

That diagram you sent was awesome. I was planning on using the mag wheel spacers into the new wheels. I know I'll have a slight over hang on the bearings. I'm just not sure my mag wheel spacers will slide into the new wheels.

The rear should be ok as there is only a few thou' between spacer o.d.'s.
If the donor wheel has 25mm bearings then the hub cavity will easily take a 3/4" spacer.

The spacer needs to be a few thou' longer than the hub depth.

Finally had time to put the primary back together on my 2006 Sportster. Still need to add fluids and adjust primary chain, put the left foot peg and shifter back on

Also just got a call that my wheels for my 2007 Sportster are back from the powder coater so it will have black wheels shortly. May need to have the indy install them since I simply don't have time

And I got a present in the mail last night, a new clutch cable for my 2007 Sporty since the stock one is too long with the Low bars and a new freshly painted fender from Harley for my 96 Softail.

Talk to me about this. I dread the battery every time. where is the other end of the cable (opposite the battery)?
