So the seat didn't seat properly, I tried to bleed the brake for over an hour. There was a leak/loss of pressure through the brake line fitting at the caliper. The fitting was tight but there was still a slight amount of play and ability to toggle the fitting left/right.
I am with you JB that I should return the caliper, but I'm under the impression that I'm too far into xxxxing around with it that irregardless they won't accept a return/replacement.
Brake line is concave WiltyBob. BigMek, I'm purchasing the adapter you linked me as well as the copper washer. I think you are offering me the best solution given I've already bled the brakes and buggered with it. Can I still use that Russell adapter with the seat installed?
Anyone, know if the convex side of the brake seat is supposed to be seated upward towards the concave inverted flare fitting? Still trying to hold out hope that I did something wrong so I don't have to keep xxxxing with all this bullshit. Just want to ride my Harley, pissed... thought I had this problem solved, then found that I still have a battery drain going on too. One thing after another.... what's new, nothing.
