Default Solo Seat T Question

Hello Everyone,

I am doing the research before I jump on a seat T purchase for my 61 and I have a question about the seat T. The stock T has a tab riveted on the underside with an elongated hole. Does anyone know what this tab is for? I am having difficulty finding a close-up photo of a stock set up. Thanks,

joe

Yes the roller shaft left end fits into the elongated hole.

Gidday Joe. The attached image should help with your understanding (the image was taken without the pin engaged in the elongated hole). As Sungod suggests, the pin that passes through the roller engages in the elongated hole to keep the saddle from lifting up. To release, you push the pin and the saddle is able to be raised, pivoting around the front mount. Opeitelps.

Thanks for the response and picture, I have a seat T on its way from Australia right now. I'm having fun collecting the bits to make it work
