Thumbs up Bell Helmets "Broozer"

I bought this helmet a year and a half ago. It's fairly light, around 3.2lbs. It came with a smoked shield and a "safety rated" clear shield. The visor flips up into the helmet. The chinbar is removable making a 3/4 helmet. Because the chinbar is latched and removable, it is DOT, Snell and ECE rated for safety.
Pros : Large field of vision, Lightweight, Doesn't look oversized (smaller dimensions) 2 visors, comes in 4-5 different graphics, quick release chin strap buckle. $100-$250 USD range.
Cons: Comes with 2 fixed open vents in chinbar (I put duct tape over these vents). The chin bar is awkward to carry or pack when you don't use it, all the time. No rear exit vents.
All in all, I like this helmet. Although there are no rear vents, the impact "styrofoam" has finger wide grooves, running from the "forehead" area, up and over the top of the head and down the back of the helmet. It does a good job of keeping your head cool. The features I like the best are the large field of vision and the light weight.

I rode a 125mi loop, last Wednesday, wearing my Bell Revolver helmet and the Wednesday before, I wore the Broozer helmet. It was in the low 90sF and winds less then 10mph. My fuel mileage was 56mpg, both times. The Revolver was much quieter and had no buffeting at all, but looking thru the visor is similar to watching a "wide screen" movie on an older TV. The Broozer had very good field of view but had a tendency to lift at higher speeds (70+mph). Insects get into it easier since it has no chin curtain and it's a lot noisier then then the Revolver. I choose the Broozer for in-city riding and the Revolver for open-road riding. My pick for best between the 2 is the Revolver.
(this 125mi loop did not include any Interstate Highway riding, just 2 lane for 105mi and 4 lane for 20mi)

Thanks for the review. I have a 3/4 Bell I really like, but I'm looking to get a full face. I'll certainly look into one of these.

Looks well used. I prefer my White-striped Revolver especially since I pulled the chin curtain off. I keep that in my Jacket, in case it rains but the lift up chinbar is the best helmet invention, yet. The Broozer I have better visibility but the removable chinbar is a pain to remember to put back on.
