I doubt there will be much HP difference between summer/winter blends, you may get none if you are in a EPA non attainment area that uses a lower emission blend.

US gsoline requirements Map

Top Tier may help over time, it will clean the intake valves, piston top and head deposits over a couple of thousand of miles if yours are gunked up

Great links shanneba. Curiosity satisfied. No need for more power....i was just wondering if its something Dyno geeks tell the client. Lol
The bike is new so i will seek out top tier to keep it that way. They say the pumps are clearly marked but I never noticed.
Interestingly it occurred to me that southern states probably get consistent fuel, no? I would think the winterization comes post refining.....

The seasonal gasoline thing has been going on for generations. I remember reading in publications that go as far back as the 30 s-40 s that mentioned that. Sure a certain blend could result in more power. But even with electronic engine controls there cam be a difference. But I feel the difference is negligible for the street. Racing for title and or prize money can be a differed story.
