Got the new pump but not installed yet but hopefully this weekend. I will get it running and check the oil return and blowby. Then may have to pull and split the motor for other leaks.

New pump installed which is a finicky little job keeping all 4 bolts in line and he washers jamming up on the inside 2. Just kept fiddling until I got it in and the drive gear aligned. Primed up the pump by running the starter with the plugs out and after running the feed to the wrong side after checking the diagram 10 times it’s gokd to go. It really pumps oil now and I can tell it’s getting good lubrication.

The manual states on the first line to check the oil pump return side shear pin lol.

She starts and runs good but still have what appears to be leak at the case which stinks.
