It's been a while since I posted about the things I've been working on so below is a list of the areas (over the past few months) where significant additions/upgrades have been made. I am 100% certain that Hippysmack has also been working hard on the SP with more (& other) additions and upgrades...

We appreciate the support from XLForum members that we've received - either directly helping with some aspect of the SP or simply providing the discussion in XLForum threads that allow us to collect the widely varied experiences of forum members into a cohesive presentation of helpful information...

THANKS!

Now that's a heavy list.

It has been awhile since updating our progress. I have probably been doing more research than typing.

I expanded the Harton fix page and turned it more into a combination of broken clutch shell magnets and repair along with the Harton Fix and addressed the 4-speed clutch wobble, (brought together many threads into this article), all on that one page. : REF: Primary Drive & Clutch

Added sub docs in the REF bottom end page (pertaining to both IHs & Evos) with these topics:

Timing Inspection Hole and Plug - Sealing and Thread Repair
Drain Plug Sealing and Temporary Fixes
Timer Plate Hole Thread Repair
Making Your Own TDC Mark in the Crankshaft (03 and prior engines)

IXL2Relax expanded the format for the tools and a few others in the REF section to allow more flexibility with our topics which keeps more of the menu on the same page.

I've been adding more to the Tools Section

Added XLXR's The 7 Pages of Suspension (parts 1 and 2) with a twist. All of his menu (as written in his threads) are each now searchable with a click to that section and I added a few pics that derived from those articles.

I also would like to thank everyone for their contributions and support.

And definitely, when you have time, please review / critic these. We haven't even begun to explore all of the vast knowledge of the XLF to include in the Sportsterpedia. I feel confident that most or all subjects that are currently in the wiki can be expanded and/or clarified for a more informative experience to the end user. And that is the end goal.

Oh, I also added a piece for the known (88 and up ) oil pump drive gear failure

Just wanted to take the time to thank IXL2Relax and Hippysmack for all the painstaking work I know they put into this and everyone else who contributed as well.
I've found it extremely helpful more than a few times not only for myself but when helping others as well and I know I don't always give thanks where it's due.
Hell, I never paid any attention to the whole reputation thing on the forum or understood what it was for until just recently!
I use to mod on a forum a lifetime ago for a software developer that made the fps game Soldier of Fortune II and I should know better what all goes into these kind of things, but hence I'm an old man now.lol
Anyway, keep up the good work. Alot of people appeciate it, even it they don't say it or show it.
