Sounds like when my engine quit. What year is yours and how many miles are on it? Mine is a 2005 Roadster and it died at 57,000 miles.

It's a 2000 with about 28k miles. Engine had seemed to run strong

I do hope it isn't as bad as mine was last year!

Did compression and leak down test. Front 45 psi, rear 200. Front 70 with leak down test so I think it must be valves.

Let my neighbours know I was home by taking her for an early brekky spin. And that of course turned into a half-day ride to find some curves.

Got the parts to mock up the plumbing in of my aux fuel tank to my 2007 Sporty and did a test fit. Next step is to put a gasket on the bulkhead fitting and thread tape on connecter and attach the tank and see what happens

Hole drilled in bottom of test tank and bulkhead fitting mounted

90 barbed elbow mounted

Of course looking at the bottom of a 4.5 gallon tank it may be a bit tricky with the mounting as there isn't as much flat surface area as on the 3.3 gallon tank above
