Default Head gasket leak.

I did a 1275 conversion with SE heads, 560 cams. Recently noticed a small head gasket leak that happens when the engine is cold.
Sounds like a bit of a knock, but felt it from the rear head. After the bike is warm the leak goes away.
How, much would it cost to get a new set of Cometic gaskets, C10094-3625 delivered to Australia?

You could always opt to loosen the head bolts and go thru the torque sequence again, then index the head bolts. Or just tighten them down another 1/8th turn.

Lifters sticking?
Check the rocker box for witness marks.
High lift cams can cause the springs to hit the box.

Well, stripped it down. Like it felt, there was a head gasket leak. The gaskets still looked good, head bolts seemed a little loose. Refit it all and retorqued to spec (7,14,22,34 and 42). Bike is running great now.
Will probably get a set of gaskets later to keep on the shelf but in no rush at the moment.
Also had a small drag race with some other local riders. MT09 was behind me the whole way. Bike just launches so hard and makes great power. Got 23,000km on the kit so far and am very happy with it.

Glad for you. Most of those naked/sport bikes have never seen a Sportster's torque curve. If we had about 2 more gears, we could outrun them up to 130mph!

My torque curve looks a little more peaky than factory. Doesn't seem to love it much below 3000rpm. Still makes OK power, but nothing compared to what it does after that. And shifting up into second at ~80km/h will lift the front wheel a bit.
