It would be interesting to see a poll asking people who currently use marijuana and those who don't use it if they support legalization. I don't think I said that right, but I'm wondering if the people who support legalization include non-users.

Being against legalizing it, I get plenty of "flack" from those that want it legal. My wife is one of 'em. I think the non-users either want an excuse to be able to try it or at least have a place to buy it, where they feel safe and don't have to worry about the pot being laced with something deadly. I do think they should de-criminalize it, but not let the ones who already broke the law go free, maybe just reduce their sentences. After all they did break the law, at the time.

It's difficult to undo decades of misinformation, propaganda and demonization. I smoked every now and again in college, basically fewer than a dozen times... stopped for about 35 years and recently started enjoying it again on occasion with an added benefit of reducing my arthritis pain. I sure wish alcohol, caffeine and nicotine were as easy to use recreationally without the dangers of possible addiction and resulting abuse. I'm jonesin' for a coffee right now.

You’re absolutely right, forever we’ve been fed misinformation mostly
by the government. Well it’s legal in my State and I grow my
own organically so no worry about mine being laced but
I will also say that anyone worried that making it legal where
You live will affect the kids you’re delusional because the jr high
And high school has always been the easiest place to get cannabis
when it was illegal and still now. Some people apparently live under a rock.
Additionally, alcohol can be deadly but it amazes me nobody or at least
Very few think it should be illegal.

The gov'mt tried to make alcohol illegal but failed in their mission. Same for pot. Now they are threatening to make modern sporting arms illegal. Clearly we are governed by chipmunks and weasels. God help us.

If by "modern sporting arms" you mean semi auto assault weapons you are deluded. I'm a Nam Era vet. Australia found a solution. Comparing the number of deaths caused by guns in the two countries proves the effectiveness of removing those weapons.
I get the whole desire to have the biggest, fastest gun. It's like a desire for a super performance engine. But my motorcycle can't kill people when I am having a emotional breakdown.
Your statement is weak.

I have a 2nd amendment Constitutional right to my firearms, covered pretty well by "shall not be infringed", and more recently by the Heller decision. For comparison sake, a monkey has more right to a banana than we have to our motorcycles.

Please don’t turn this cannabis thread into a gun argument.
Here’s a bud from a “Berry” strain that just finished drying.
