Several near misses because of this. Welcome to Harley. Accelerating from a dead stop at a light or sign. Jerky and unreliable. I would pull out then nothing while vehicles behind nearly ran me over. Pull in the clutch rev it up and try again. Harley had it for over two weeks trying to figure it out. About three months into the warranty. Remapped it 3 times before they finally got a handle on it. Quick fix. Haven't had a problem with it since but am beginning to think this may be the reason my mileage is so poor 31 mpg city or highway. They wound up putting a high performance map on it then wanted to charge me for it. Good grief.

Wow! Such an easy fix! Wish I knew about that cure a year ago. Good for you! Wonder if this condition has been reported to our esteemed bureaucracy, the nhtsa.

It's been noticed. Later Bosch ECU's have more checks built in to detect and defeat Lambda shifters. The aftermarket strives to give us better performance, OE suppliers (under threat from big brother) work at keeping us from doing it.
