If you are running anything faster than 65 they are......try 125 mph on I-95 without one.......you won't like it

I always ride with one. I don't care what anyone else thinks. It's much more comfortable with one.

Mine only comes off if I'm working on the bike and the flat clear cop shield wasn't working for me. The batwing like them or not cuts the wind. The flat clear one is more like the wind hitting a brick wall.

A Windshield helps a lot on a long trip. When I'm in town, it comes off. I prefer the look and feel of the bike without a shield; but at the end of a 500 mile day, I'm nowhere near as tired if I use one.

That's why I like Detachables. I can put the shield on in seconds and take it off just as fast.

Hey Fifty150 that image is big enough at 2516 x 3700 pixels! Can you make it bigger?

I ride with my windshield on all the time. I have been caught in a couple of showers and it keeps most to all of the rain off my upper body.
