If you change to a 34 tooth primary sprocket you will loose your gear indicator in your speedo.

With Power Vision you can fix that.

The gear indicator table is hidden from power vision. It cant see it. In my case I went to 1200 gears. I had to get a 1200 tune and import my 883 tables to it to get the gear indicator back. Aaron at Hammer did it for me. Aaron keeps thousands of tunes in stock and he provided one for me. I sent him my 883 tune and he took care of putting my 883 tables in the 1200 tune and sent the tune back. When I pull my tune it says for a Harley 1200 48.

Depends whose "canned map" you're running, some don't show (allowing access to) all the tables. If all else fails pull up your original and apply the mods to it. Speedo calibration is rational, you can just apply a correction factor. I can make no sense of the gear ratio table except to copy. If it's wrong the indicator does disappear.

Aaron at Hammer got this info from the tech at power vision. So believe it or not. I have been through it. But I believe you are missing the point of how the gear indicator is calculated. You CANNOT access that table with a power vision. You have to change the complete tune in the ecm. The 883 tune has the info for a 34 tooth and the 1200 tune has the info for a 38 tooth.
