It looks like it. The original part number, # 32534-05B, has been replaced by # 32534-11.

That's for a blank ECM, which will need a map downloading by the dealer.

Okay, here's one more bit of interesting information regarding my P0603 DTC on my '07 Sportster XL Custom. The last few times I rode to work in the morning, it was fairly cool (mid 60s), and the Check Engine Light did not come on once during my 45 minute ride to the office. As I noted previously, the bike seems to be running just fine, and this new data appears to back up that assessment. So, anyone out there have any ideas on what aspect of the electrical system could be temperature-sensitive and therefore contribute to throwing the P0603 code? Again, many thanks.

The ECM itself can have internal connections or ICs that are temp sensitive. The code is indicative of a self check internal failure that it determined when engine startup processing ran.

If you believe the temperature alters the error...

You might try the old-style ICM test - When it's cold outside, preheat the ECM with a hair dryer - then start & run the bike to see if it gets the ECM Error...

Likewise, you can test it in reverse - Run the bike until it is well warmed up on a warm day - If the ECM error occurs, shut down & clear the error code - then spray the ECM with Cold Spray - Then run the bike to see if the ECM error returns while the ECM is cold...

If either test indicates the ECM works Cold but not when Hot/Warm, you are likely to need to replace it...

As a final test before replacing it, I would check the ECM connector to be sure that each and every wire connection is fully seated in the connector housing...
