Interesting.
Not as labored now?

I'm finding very small changes with my A/F mixture and my timing make big differences in performance, vibration as well as the feeling of a labored motor.

So did I. Namely richer jetting and more advance. Retarded timing does cause higher temps.

Thanks for the mention in post 732, Hippysmack. I built my frame so I had a clean slate so to say, and had wet sumping in mind back then, so mounted my engine on a 15 degree forward lean.. just thought Id better mention this.

I will go back and add that rubine.
If there are any other updates or changes you'd like to make, just let me know.
Thanks again for sharing that.

edit:
I've made that change and also added a pic showing the angle.
Thank you!

I get a drop or 2 from either location that's mostly water. Not always. Depends how I ride. It hits the ground and spreads rapidly it's so thin. The only place I get any residue on the bike is a small area on the bottom of the crossover tube where my hose ends. Not enough to care about and completely normal.
Given the results, the cam chest is a better choice.

They do. It's the difference between having tuning that lets you cruise at 10% throttle with good response to small throttle opening changes and a tune that needs 20% throttle to do the same while having the responsiveness of a toilet flush. There's no shortage of riders that can't tell the difference, you're one up.
