My 2018 does that. My 2016 did not. The techs at the dealer think im insane. Thanks for posting.

May sound a little off the wall, but try setting the carb exactly as in Sportsterpedia.
Especially regarding the throttle plate.
If like me you have changed grips a few times (3 for me) and then re-adjusted the cables at the throttle end thinking all is good.
Then a few days later think the bikes tick over is not quite right, so adjust it a little and while there tweak the mixture screw. After a few times of doing this you also realize the mixture screw is not doing a great deal but set it where you think it sounds ok.
I was also having vibration at low/cruising speed and actually thought the new harder engine mounts were the problem.
I then read the carb article properly and adjusted it as per.
What a difference, all vib's gone, engine so sweet and mixture screw actually working.
So for me, it was just a fueling problem. Worth a check.
