Honda Nostalgia
They're bringing back the Super Cub for 2019.
They've also got one called the Monkey - like a mini bike.

Gas and parts prices keep going up. They will be the ones laughing at us old codgers.
I got a old 60 series Honda as yard art myself. Motor still has compression and it goes through the gears also. After 50 plus years out in the desert sun.

The Honda Monkey originally had a 50cc engine. This new one has the 125cc engine from the Honda Grom.
You meet the nicest people on a Honda campaign again.

Ya - that one seems kind of familiar. I think a lot of them were used by RV campers and as pit bikes.
They all seem like they'd be kind of fun, if not too practical.
But hey - what motorcycle is really practical.
And I'm pretty sure I read that the Super Cub holds the all time record for most sold world wide.

I had a Honda Cub, long ago and it was just a very useful thing. Totally reliable, reasonable weatherproofing, reasonably comfortable for rides up to half an hour or so and needing zero maintenance.
I’m sure they will sell them by the container-load

the old cubs ran 49>123cc
they were OHV push rod driven valve train. i doubt the new one will be.
when they came out with the cam chain system, there were a lot of things that could be swapped between several model since the bottom end was the same, you had the super 50/90 and the super 90/110 and such. i always loved the super 90, well balanced and for its size can handle state hyws, tooo small for the super slab.

Didn't want a Ruckus, but did what everybody does to the Ruckus...
I guess it looks better than quite a few I've seen though. A guy I work with runs a 210cc or so Ruckus with a big nasty sounding FMF pipe on it. Pretty cool little scoot, but it's hardly a Ruckus these days.
