I love Hooligan bikes! Especially when modern and vintage parts are mashed together. That monoshock setup in the rear is sweet - keep us posted!

Not much new right now. Working on getting all the bearings picked up. Got some powder on the way to start working on the wheels/rotors/calipers and such. Started working on a flush tail light too. Making our own stop/turn/tail controller. I think that's about it. We've both been pretty busy with other stuff lately, and he's getting ready to leave for 3 weeks, so I don't imagine I'll get much done other than some motor work, lol.

Sort of. We're putting a Sporty seat on it, lol. When I picked up the g/f's bike last weekend I took the stocker off and put on the Reach seat. Tossed the stocker on the KZ just for kicks and it actually flows really well.

As do I. I've seen some bikes like this built before, but it usually wasn't a ground up. Most of them I've seen at least started with a running bike, lol. I'll be sure to post updates as we go along. Hopefully once he's back from BNOC we'll hit it hard and heavy.

AH! I can't wait to see this bike when it's done! My best friend when I was a teenager (back when I rode a beat up old CB550 that I STILL HAVE!), his brother had a built KZ1000 that I drooled over.
