Default HD LED taillight and rear stop/running light module

Does anybody know how many apps the HD LED taillight draws? How about the rear stop/running module addition?

In most cases, you should be able to place your meter in current mode - 10amps minimum - and measure the current draw...

The meter leads would go IN SERIES with the circuit to be tested - That is, you could pull the feed wire out of the closest connector - put RED meter lead on the wire that is the incoming voltage (either the connector pin or on the wire, whichever is the incoming voltage) & place the BLACK lead on the connector pin (either the wire or the connector pin, which ever is the headed for the bulbs)...

Alternatively, but with somewhat less accuracy, you could pull the fuse that feeds that circuit - then remove the closest connector for the bulb or the bulb itself - then place your meter leads across the fuse holder (no fuse) - You MUST observe the correct polarity to measure the DC current flow...

Once you have a base current reading, you reinstall the bulbs to be tested & take another reading - the difference is the value drawn by the bulbs being tested...

Be careful - you could burn out your meter if you got it set wrong - and you might short other circuits if you are not connecting the meter correctly...
