And as those valves seat into the head, the pushrods will become tighter requiring more adjustments.
Too tight valve lash means the possibility of scorching a valve seat.

A wise old gray beard once told me that these Iron Sportsters tend to sound like a washing machine full of marble when running them down the highway.
Pretty much the best description I've heard of...........
