I'm using the heaviest gold springs, its pretty stiff at the lever but with the CRF dirt bike perch and its throw it reduces the effort a good bit. Consistency isn't the best but I am still pretty green and learning, I don't intend to ET race this bike, its for heads up racing. I do plan to dtart bringing the buell for the ET classes, I am super consistent on that bike and its very predictable seems like the more stock the bike is the better it does in ET. Hell a bone stock R1 won the whole ET class last weekend. This way my XL isn't making so many back to back passes trying to run multiple classes

Less powerful bikes are more forgiving IMO. Easier to run the same number over and over.

Yea that's what I have come to notice, the buell does the same thing everytime, just gonna add a quick shift to it and run it how it is

Everybody has to do what works for them. The rider is just another part of the bike combo. No different than exhaust, cam, or gearing. Everything has to work together and everyone has there own way of doing things to be competitive where they race. I like seeing new builds and reading what new stuff guys are trying. Every once in a while a better way to do something pops up.
