loosen head bolts and move them around to fit the manifold.get a set of fna seals,no more leaks,ever.with the headbolts loose you might as well pull 'em and throw some new headgaskets in there,and set the manifold

Not sure here. Are you saying the mounting holes to mount the carb to the intake manifold are not lining up ?
Or the intake manifold is smaller than the throat of the carb ?

Ironhead carb replacement
Thank you for the suggestions. The problem is the throttle wheel where the cables are located hit up against the intake manifold, so the carb will not seat to the intake manifold. plus the stock bolts are too small they to be larger to fit the carb I have on. So I did find a S&S intake manifold on Ebay and am having it shipped. so I hope all will be well.
