Did you ever get all four bushings off the cams?
I'd be interested in seeing the coloring on the back side of the cams with the bushings removed.

Also, how is the ball and spring oriented in the piston squirters?

No,
Even heating then with induction heater after freezing the cams overnight.
I got one to turn but it would not come off. obviously got a ridge around it. Might try cutting them off. Not going to re build it and the cams are going to be scrap now anyway.


A 2kw induction heater...sorely disappointed in it to be honest. guess you need 10-20 kw unit to be any really use !

Not done any more to it for a few days.

This is why dirt bike guys (and me) cover the clutch lever at all times, never delete the kill switch and are always ready to use either or both.

Yes. That's a fact. Plenty of things we learned in the dirt every day will eventually save our ass on the street. I think most if not all dirt riders could have kept the bike up around that corner. That's what I thought when I saw the frozen slide. But, we are just Couch Quarterbacks at this point. I wasn't on it and I am glad the guy who was survived (the bike didn't, but he did).
