Trying real hard to keep my chit together this morning. Got a lot on my mind. Coffee with some peach preserves I made from white peaches. They have a different, sweeter taste than regular peaches, so they should be an interesting addition to toast.

Leaving for the salt flats in a hour or so. Toy hauler packed up ready to go.
The trip down there is about 460 miles, but I have a nice back roads only
route that gets me there without much interstate and by-passing Salt Lake City.

Won't have much internet access but I'll post some pics when I get back.

Stocked up on coffee filters from WalMart.

Those funny looking ones for those weird new style with sharp angles like a cone.
I don't see Holly as much since she took over Parks and Rec dept.
Plus they re moving city hall from old building to a bank building they bought
Between city council night meetings and budget meetings at night.

Don't see her like I used to. Which means no biscuits and gravy lately.

Found out Ross < engineer > is from Corpus Christi Texas. He gave me 4 harley coffee mugs as
a gift. Nice coffee mugs. I figure they cost him 20 bucks a pop.

Finished chores in the house and shopping. Gotta water the outside dogs and feed em.
7 more days and I'll be rok'n in Carlsbad.
Frigging hot as usual.

Declan, enjoy your newest adventure, there may come a time, for all of us, when we won’t be able to.
Harry, just keep taking names and kicking a*s.
Fred, do what you gotta do, just be careful!

Coffee is hot. It is Dunkin Donuts coffee.

Chores done. What kind of trouble can I get into today? TGIF

Ross has brother in Midland. I am beginning to wonder if he will stick around in this podunk town.
My best probably wrong guess. 6 months before his brother sets him in midland.

I know my town pretty well.

Thanks for the java, Harry, hit the spot. Caffeine got me motivated to do the front and rear yard. Why does it hurt so much afterward?

Donuts and diabetes for breakfast. Put some more sugar and creamer in my coffee, and I'm good to go. Townhouse is rented, back is sore. Maybe now I can get stuff done at home.
